Make-up Bonanza

Oy vey! So I have been on a pretty strict make-up ban. I told the hubby I would only be receiving the make-up I have on auto-delivery from Smashbox and any foundation that I need to get. But yesterday at Nordstroms I saw this on sale:
So I got it. All of this for 44.90....are you kidding me? I love their eyeliners and eyeshadows, and this just seemed like too good of a deal to pass up. But then my sister alerted me that this was the today's special value from QVC:
So I got this too! This set was 85 dollars, and if you know how much Bobbi Brown make-up usually costs you know this set is a steal! I used a palette of hers for my wedding, and I swear it was the best I ever looked. So now I am thinking I will return the Smashbox one...I feel WAY too guilty about keeping two.

On another note, it is now seven 0' clock and I haven't started grading portfolios yet. I have been such a bum today. Hope you all are enjoying your Saturday!

Slippery as a snake

Blog posts are slipping by me right now as I struggle to maintain my sanity during the last three weeks of school. I am trying to get our Knott's trip, Disneyland trip, and last award's assembly stable right now. In the mean time, feast your eyes on this pair of shoes that I would REALLY like to add to my closet right now.
I just love the vibrant color and texture to these shoes. They are ma-jah! These are pretty sweet as well:
Here's to it being almost Friday!

Paris Hilton Blow Jobs

So on Wednesday, a student stole my phone during the earthquake drill we had at our school. It had to be during that drill because that was the only time I had my door unlocked, and I left my phone on top of my desk like a putz due to the fact that I had been running around that morning trying to get things set up for an awards ceremony we are having on June 4th. Anyhoo, I thought I had misplaced it, and I had spent thirty minutes looking for it. I told the hubby when I got home, and he called AT &T to see if any calls had been placed. None. The next day I go to work, and around seventh period I find a note in my box stating that my phone had been found in Caroline Graham's locker? What????

So I check everything on my iphone...and no evidence. The only thing the little shit did leave behind was a history of his web search: porn, up one's skirt, and Paris Hilton blow jobs.

I feel so violated, but THANKFUL that I did get my phone back. I guess I will be putting a passcode on it now. Grrr.

It's Morphin' Time!

OK, I am totally going to let my inner dorkiness come out. I just found out that the Power Rangers are going to be appearing at the Anime Expo in Anaheim (don't ask how I know), and I have decided I am totally going. I was in sixth grade when the power rangers came out, and I had a major crush on Jason David Frank who played Tommy, the green, white, and eventually red ranger.

(Long hair= hotness!)
I was so smitten with this guy! I watched the show not only for him, but also because I totally wanted to be Amy Jo Johnson, who played Kimberly, the pink ranger. The two of them were just perfect together, and I went into high school thinking that's how guys should treat their girlfriends (white knight syndrome).

The funniest thing is I even dated the kid who played Tommy when he got sent back in time. Michael was my first boyfriend and my first kiss.
So I am totally indulging my inner kid and making my husband go to this. Even though Jason David Frank won't be there, some of the original rangers are going to be there, and I think it will be worth it. "It's morphin time!"
