Change It Back

Agh! I came home today to find my husband walking out the front door with the packaging for the wall mount I ordered for our flat screen. I had thought by placing the TV over the fireplace it might open up the room since we could switch around our couches, but now I am not so sure. I can't say anything though because the hubby already put the TV up. I die...and not in the good way.

And I never took a picture of the living room before with the way it was, so I can't even show you guys.

Oy!

Throat Therapy

So taking Friday off and staying in bed the whole weekend (and missing out on how gloriously sunny it was on Saturday) did nothing for this cough. THIS COUGH BLOWS! It's kinda scary actually. At least five students in every class have it, and my lovely office manager/stand-in mother told me that I am going to have this cough for at least two weeks.

Lecturing all day today on Oregon Country and the Alamo has left my throat mangled. I am going to try and drink at least three cups of this tonight:

Did you know Celestial Seasonings has a vanilla sleepy time tea out? It is just heavenly on my warped throat right now. Good thing we're finishing the rest of a video on the Alamo tomorrow. =)

Oh Target, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways! One:

This comforter is a knockoff of this one I had been eying at West Elm for months. I just purchased the Target one, and I adore it.


Also, doesn't this shirt from Target look like something....oh, I don't know, that J Crew might carry?

Every Single Time

It never fails. I don't know why each time I try this I think it will be different. Every single time I purchase a new pair of shoes I think I can just wear them without breaking them in. Take yesterday, for example. I wore this pair of cuties:

And they totally destroyed my feet. I am wearing four band aids right now. Nice!
